Live for Pink Honorees

The DownEast Live for Pink Campaign's 2015 Honorees have been announced!
Our eighth annual Live for Pink collection and campaign in support of the fight against breast cancer has culminated with 8 incredible, brave and deserving honorees chosen from across the country. During the month of September and October, we raised over $5,000 through proceeds from our Live for Pink tee sales that went directly to women currently undergoing treatment.
The Live for Pink campaign is an important one to us, as breast cancer has touched many in our DownEast family. Our own CEO, Klane Murphy, whose wife battled breast cancer a few years ago, presented 3 of our deserving women with their grant and gift baskets on Good Things Utah on ABC 4.
Since the inception of our annual Live for Pink promotion, DownEast has donated more than $150,000 in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
“Our LIVE for Pink campaign has become an annual event, and we’re honored to once again be providing financial grants directly to individuals struggling with the disease,” said Klane Murphy, our CEO. “As always, DownEast strives to give back to the communities where we do business, and we believe this is a way in which we can have a very personal impact on affected women’s lives. Many in our own DownEast family have been touched by breast cancer, making it an important cause to us.”
Congratulations to our 8 Live for Pink 2015 Honorees:
